DPI recognizes that a change in the format of forms without a change to the format of rubrics has unintentionally resulted in ambiguous labeling of components in the Evidence Collection Tool. This issue makes it difficult for observers to properly align observation evidence with rubric components in the new Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), Library Media Specialist (LMS), and Coach Evaluations. DPI evaluation developers and their stakeholders are working to determine and roll out a fix for the 2021-22 school year.
In the meantime, the observation tools can still be utilized in a meaningful way by referring to a PDF version of the respective rubric located in each evaluations’ user guide. Evaluators may want to download or print the respective rubrics for ease of reference.
